is quite a challenge, not only in the creation but the logistics of space in the studio. However it’s a chance to realize the work at the scale it was intended to be viewed and bring out the beauty of working with an everyday material such as concrete.

The initial phase is creating a lifesize form so that a mould can be made in fibreglass. This involves projecting an image on to board to the scaled up size, cutting out all the pieces then assembling. Once this is put together any changes can be made at this stage.
